Children's Hospital of Eastern Ontario (CHEO), West Addition

First phase of a three phase project. The west addition is a three-storey administration wing. The 66,000-square-foot concrete structure is enclosed by a combination of curtainwall and brick/punch window facades. The project connects to the operational Children's Hospital. Challenges include working with expanding shale substrate, upgrading corridor infrastructure in 24-hour occupied space, and removal of asbestos products.
