Project Description

The Bay/Dundas Development Project involved the demolition of a 10-storey post-tensioned parking garage as well as the construction a new 6-storey, 700,000 sq. ft. building. The top three floors of the new building are home to Ryerson University's School of Business. The lower levels of the new building are owned and operated by Cadillac Fairview which consists of 3 levels of new parking garage as well as 2 levels of retail space. The retail space of the new building is linked underground to the Eaton Centre by a new retail corridor while the new parking garage is connected to the Eaton Centre by a new pedestrian bridge. The Ryerson University levels boast a new 500 seat theatre and an open air courtyard in the centre of the building. The School of Business opened for classes for the fall semester of 2006.
