This project involved the construction of a new 400,000 s.f. cancer treatment centre and offices and new 144,000 s.f. concrete parkade at the existing Credit Valley Hospital site (originally built by PCL Constructors Eastern Inc.). The treatment centre is 4-storeys plus penthouse with one basement level. The parking structure is 9 split levels for a total of 393 vehicles. The project also consisted of adding a new mechanical room to the existing hospital roof and strengthening the existing parking structure foundations for future additions. This project included the construction of six cancer treatment bunkers constructed using high density Hematite concrete. Glulam timber "trees" are the focal point of the central atrium as they support the roof structure and skylights.
